Learning Outcomes

By the end of this training you will have:

  • An understanding of the history, traditions and cultural significance of Himalayan and crystal singing bowls.

  • A deeper understanding of the acoustic and musical principles that shape the sounds produced by singing bowls.

  • Refined your playing techniques using a variety of tools and methods.

  • Built confidence in using singing bowls creatively within group and one-to-one sessions.

  • Learned advanced approaches to working with singing bowls on and around the body.

  • Learned how to incorporate traditional frameworks and rituals into your practice

  • Understood contraindications, ethical considerations and trauma-aware approaches relevant to advanced sound practice.

  • Learned how to care for, maintain and work safely with both Himalayan and crystal singing bowls.

  • Continued to develop your own authentic facilitation style by integrating embodied awareness, musical understanding and traditional wisdom.


Further Level Two advanced modules will be available in: 

  • gongs

  • tuning forks

  • percussion

  • voice

Completing three modules earns you a Diploma in Advanced Embodied Sound Practice accredited by the IPHM.

Pre-requisites:

  • Completed Level One Sound Practitioner Course

  • Run at least 12 sound baths (including those completed during Level One)
